Komaram Bheem Asifabad district achieved a significant sporting milestone when four young football players earned selection for a national-level football competition. The players impressed selectors during the State-Level 68th SGF Under-14 Football Championship held in Wanaparthy.
The selected athletes include three girls and one boy representing educational institutions from Asifabad, Sirpur, and Kagaznagar. Their outstanding performance throughout the tournament demonstrated the growing football talent emerging from tribal and rural regions of the district.
Sports officials, teachers, and local residents congratulated the players and expressed confidence that they would perform well at the national level. Their achievement has inspired many young students across the district to participate in sports and pursue professional athletic careers.
