Mitte Waterfalls
Mitte Waterfalls, popularly known as Sapthagundala Waterfalls, is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Komaram Bheem Asifabad District, Telangana. Located near Pittaguda village in Lingapur Mandal, the site is famous for its series of seven waterfalls, which gives it the name Sapthagundala (“Saptha” meaning seven and “Gundala” meaning pools or cascades).

Reaching the waterfalls requires a trek of approximately 2–3 kilometers through forest trails and uneven terrain from Pittaguda village. The journey itself is an adventure, passing through streams, rocky paths, and dense vegetation. Visitors often hire local guides for a safer and more enjoyable experience.

- July to November (Monsoon and post-monsoon season)
- Water flow is strongest and the surrounding forests are lush green.
- Visitors should exercise caution during heavy rains, as rocks can become slippery and safety infrastructure is limited.
